(Don’t you think she kinda looks like Mrs Parker from The Pretender tv show? Ugh… I’m fantasizing so hard right now… probably not as hard as Broots though…)
Bara logic #2
So are those boxers like…Timelord technology or something?
i am tired of tumblr making me feel awful about my body with pictures of guys with huge pecs or a great belly
i am so damn tired of this bullshit and this is not body shame that’s what tumblr is doing to me making me feel awful about my body,
i am tired of the lgbt comunnity only caring about white good looking males
i am so tired of being gay and not because the straight people
But because most of the gays are narcissist males caring only about themselves
But you know what? this isn’t doing anything to fix that it’s just than i want to express than
i am tired..
First part: As a response to this message, I too understand you as I have been through a time period like that and I just simply wished I was straight because almost every gays I have encountered so far in my life kinda fell into the same mold, despite each of them being unique …
Second part: As a personal elaborated comment, the way I dealt with this was just to stay away from dating sites and same sort as much as possible. And as for those good-looking pics, I rather think it’s awesome that they really love their bodies and confident enough to show them to the world. And it will become my own motivation to achieve my desired looks. (aka get some meat since I would like to see a chubbier me) Y’know, just some positive thoughts.
As for the LGBT community … well … I am part of it, but not actively part of it I guess. No comment on the community, since it does no harm to anyone with my limited knowledge, so hey I don’t think I would need to spout more criticism to a pool of hatred the majority of the world already pressured on them.
Second part is in no way an attack on your post. Just wanted to post my own thoughts on a topic that your posts is under.
(Forgive the boobies owner opinion here…)
I’ve been reading such complaints in the gay community for several years, probably since I’ve bought my first gay magazines more than ten years ago, and it feels like it’s always been like that. I’ve read about a lot of dudes complaining about the community ridiculous standards, but also about the racism in the community (omg chocolaty big black cocks!!!11!), classism, machism, etc… And somehow it is true that since the gay community tends to develop through erotica, or at least pictures of pleasant men, there are groups created for every fetish, the bear club, the daddy/twink lovers, the blatino fetishists, etc. who think they explore diversity but in reality only spend time contemplating their own “perfect men”.
A lot of gay guys seem pressured into being attractive, healthy, strong, not too feminine, stay young at all costs and I don’t know, but I have the feeling it’s a bit like what women feel, which leads me to thinking that whether you’re a girl or a boy, if you like men you have to live up certain standards because men as a social group can be pretty picky. (Or pretend to be…) But I might be wrong of course!
Anyway, all this to say, you don’t have to “be” a part of a community if you don’t feel comfortable, and I’ve read recently an article that said that, hey, this is the internet. It’s still a relatively free place… if you don’t find what you want to see, just create it yourself. If you feel like you want more diversity within the community, you could try making a blog with only pictures that you think deserve more attention, people who look more like you, normal guys, actual boys next door and not “porn boys next door”? You don’t know, perhaps it would inspire someone and help other guys feel better about themselves? :)
